International Labour Day Celebration - 2024

On the occasion of International Labour Day, the Akash Institute of Physiotherapy organised an event as a sign of respect towards the diversity of the workforce and the countless ways workers contribute to our communities and our economy. The institute organized a talk on “ERGONOMICS” and its posture and role of Physiotherapy by Principal Dr. Manjunatha H and Lecturer Dr. Priyanka Parida.

The event started with a short video made by students of AIPT followed by an inauguration, lamp lighting and keynote address by Dr Naresh Shetty Co & Chief Advisor of Akash Hospital and Dr Sunil Hegde RMO, Akash Hospital gracing the event. The staff and students had organized a programme as a part of awareness of ergonomics and, the role of physiotherapy through Skits, Ergonomic Aerobics and Poster presentations.

On the successful response of organizing International Labour’s Day, future events are planned by Akash Institute and Department of Physiotherapy.
